Google
地圖、地點搜尋與路線規劃使用 Google Maps Platform(Maps SDK for iOS、Places API、Routes API)。
App
(Firebase)
(Google AdMob)

This policy explains how RideOnce (“the app”) handles your information. The app has no accounts, and the developer runs no server that stores your trips.
Location
The app uses your location only while you use it (“While Using the App”) to show where you are on the map, and set pickup to your current location. It does not track your location in the background.
Google Maps, place search, and routes
Maps, place search, and routing use Google Maps Platform (Maps SDK for iOS, Places API, Routes API). To return results, the text you search for, the pickup and drop-off coordinates you choose, and the location needed to draw the map are sent to Google. See the Google Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
Data kept only on this phone
- Recent searches: delete them with “Clear search history” on the search screen.
- Saved places (home, work, and custom places): clear the address from Home.
- Route estimate cache: avoids calling Google again for the same route; kept for up to 30 days.
- Last coordinate inside Taiwan: used to choose where the map starts.
Deleting the app deletes all of the above.
iCloud sync
Your daily free-use counts sync across your devices through iCloud key-value storage on your Apple ID, so reinstalling or switching phones does not reset them. Only counts and dates sync; no places or trips.
Clipboard
The app writes the drop-off name to the clipboard only when you tap “Copy drop-off”, so you can paste it into a ride app. The app does not read the clipboard.
Opening ride apps
When you tap a provider card, the app opens that provider’s app or its App Store page. For Uber, the pickup and drop-off coordinates and names are passed in the link. What happens next is covered by that provider’s privacy policy. The app receives no data from providers.
Crash reports and analytics (Firebase)
The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash information (such as stack traces, device model, OS version, and app version) to fix problems. Crash reports also carry a few diagnostic fields: the tariff version in use and the status of the last route request. They do not include your location, addresses, or search text.
The app also uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (such as screens used, app opens, device and OS information, and approximate region) to improve features. This data does not include the addresses you enter.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
A banner ad may appear at the bottom of Home and a native ad in the fare panel. When a daily allowance runs out, you can choose to watch a rewarded ad for more tries.
Before showing ads, the app asks for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. If you allow it, AdMob may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) to show more relevant ads across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, search, fare estimates, ride handoff, and watching a rewarded ad for extra uses all keep working; ads are not personalized. AdMob may still use your IP address and device and app information to serve ads, limit repeats, prevent fraud, and measure performance. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
We do not sell personal data
We do not sell your personal information or use it for purposes other than those above.
